Hello!
It's time for an update! What to say, what to say?
Well, for starters Ticket to Freedom is out now! If you haven't already read my suspense short story, well, what are you waiting for? Gay romance and running from criminals. Who can resist? Find it at your favourite store.
But, wait, you're saying you've already read it - or suspense isn't for you? Have no fear! Twelve Dates of Christmas is almost here! My sexy christmas themed romance is out for pre-order and with a click and a promise, you can have it sent to your hands in only a few days (six to be exact). So, grab it before anyone else at your favourite store.
Already on top of it, you say? If so, I am very impressed! So, then, how about I break some amazingly great news? My novel Garden of Cupid is coming out next year in April! 🎉
This story will change from my usual format and be alternating pov between the two male leads. I'm curious to see what people think of this writing style. Regardless, it was a lot of fun to write this spring-time tale of new love blooming.
If you haven't heard about the story, I will happily share the summary!
Will Brewer is a shy artist living with only his cat for company. He's not good with people and even worse with relationships. He isn’t looking for a boyfriend or a relationship, he just wants to paint.
Will would happily be living the life of a hermit if his eighty year old neighbour Mrs O’Grady wasn't constantly roping him into tasks around her house.
And he isn't the only one she's preying on.
The new and gorgeous mechanic Blain Stewart has just moved in next door. Where Will feels like an awkward fool around Blain, the mechanic finds him adorable.
Blain has just ended a bad long-term relationship with a high-maintenance man who didn’t understand him. He feels like he's starting all over again and he’s hesitant for his fresh start to include the talented and charming Will.
But when Mrs O’Grady asks them to plant some flowers in her garden, the tension between them skyrockets.
They both think friendship would be safer than a new romance. But when attraction, connection and an enthusiastic old lady are pushing them together, will they be able to resist?
I'm excited to bring another story to you all and hopefully it won't be the last for next year! We'll see what life and creativity provides!
If you're ever curious to hear what I'm working on, you can check out my Current Works in Progress blog page which is routinely updated. I have now added a handy link to it in the menu bar at the top of my website page called 'Writing Projects'. I'm always keen to hear what stories people are most keen for. It might even give me an added boost of motivation to complete it 😉
And, speaking of motivation, National Novel Writing Month has finished and I have once again hit the 50,000 word goal! I'm very pleased by this as there were a few days when my wordcount and energy was low. I'm hoping to be able to compete in the next camp in April, but we'll see what time and life allows.
Annnd, wow I think that's it for now! There's just so much happening and even with life bustling around, I'm continuing to try and work on new novels. Specifically, a new Christmas story and one about a grumpy vampire and a kind-hearted elf. If you want to hear more about those, go check out that Current Writing link I mentioned 😉
Thank you to everyone for reading this little whirlwind of an update. If you have questions, requests or comments, you can always grab me on Facebook or Twitter.
Take care everyone!
